Music is one of the most vital parts of our spirituality. Music is a great gift. 150 Psalms, hymns, spiritual songs—the pairing of melody and theology helps us worship the triune God of our salvation. Music strikes and stirs our souls. Christians are a singing people.
Today, I want to share a worship song that came out in 2014. And without hyperbole, it is one of my favorite songs. It is a brilliant hymn from my friend, Tim. The lyrics take you through the gospel's power and promises, helping you sing in wonder and praise. More churches should be singing this song! Deep gospel truth + sing-ability = Amen.
